The Golf Course Superintendents Association of Southern California (GCSASC) provides funding to advance education and research in the field of golf course management. The Scholarship Committee within the GCSASC is sponsoring a scholarship award competition. The competition is to identify and recognize outstanding students whose career intentions relate to golf course management or related fields.

Scholarship awards are available to college students pursuing a degree in Turf Science or a related field at an accredited college whose career goal is golf or turf related.

Applicants must complete the application form, supply official transcripts from educational institutions, submit a brief essay on reasons for requesting an award and provide a reference letter from a faculty advisor and/or golf course superintendent.

All applications will be reviewed by the GCSASC Scholarship Committee and evaluated based on the information listed above without regard to race, sex, creed, age or national origin. GCSASC reserves the right to decline any awards at its sole discretion.
